True Colors of Argentina

Last fall I was lucky enough to visit Buenos Aires for several weeks. What began as a last-minute, unexpected trip ended up being a transformative experience. Having never traveled alone, the opportunity to roam the city at my own pace and absorb the culture, language, and history around me was nothing short of breathtaking. The people I encountered were so friendly and accepting of my rusty Spanish. The capital of Argentina and the homeland of Evita Peron, the city was not short on the arts (boasting an amazing philharmonic orchestra, opera house, museum of modern art, and more), great food, or bustling nightlife. Be ready to drink a lot of malbec and eat as much steak as you can manage. From the antique markets to the MALBA, Buenos Aires was filled with bold colors and vivid people.
