Let's Get Coffee.

I could live solely on coffee, and I'm not ashamed that I've made it a personal mission of mine to try every coffee shop Austin has to offer. Thankfully, South and East Austin have wonderful options. Whether you enjoy a deep, rich pour-over or a creamy latte, there are some exciting exciting local alternatives to Starbucks right in your backyard.

Radio
Great coffee, questionable parking. It took a while to find a space in the lot or on the street, so bring your patience with you. They have food trucks in the back which make them a popular weekend spot. With great decking you can enjoy your drink on the patio.

Stouthaus
This used to be the go-to spot after a delicious brunch at St. Philip, but this prime spot on South 290 also features a great bar atmosphere. The coffee is great and if you're in Sunset Valley shopping, they're just a stone's throw away.

Seventh Flag
Seventh Flag is about as far south as I'll go on any given day for a great coffee. With a charming aesthetic and probably the best logo on this list, it was easy for me to swoon.

Cuvee
I'm biased but Cuvee will always be my favorite. The baristas are the friendliest in town, and I am convinced they work magic with milk that no one else in town can do. The beans are the house roasted and rival Stumptown or Intelligentsia. The single origins are also very unique and worth a try.
